Saint Joseph’s National School
In Saint Joseph’s National School, children come first and our mission statement is to partner with families to develop enthusiastic learners in a safe, supportive and challenging environment.
St. Joseph’s National School is a Co-Educational Catholic Primary School, where each child is treated as a unique individual and is provided with the opportunity to develop his/her personality and talents through a holistic approach to education.
We aim to provide a well-ordered, happy, secure and caring learning environment which facilitates the nurturing of each pupil’s full educational potential and develops self- confidence and a spirit of cooperation.
Teachers and Parents are partners in the children’s education. Involvement of parents is encouraged and recognised as being a vital ingredient in the educational process.
We endeavour to set high expectations for the pupils and to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community. We aim to instil in pupils, respect for themselves, other people and property.
Children’s efforts are praised, encouraged and supported.
While St.Joseph’s is a school with a Catholic ethos, it also enrols pupils of other religions and those of none.
